Research interests

My main research interests are tourism policy and strategies, project development, the reconciliation of local livelihood and tourism and sharing economy. In my doctoral dissertation, completed in the autumn of 2017, I study what are the terms of for developing tourism in a small and remote village community. I have participated in a number of tourism development projects, which have addressed, among other issues, the development of tourism education, tourism foresight, impacts of tourism and the elements of Lappish hospitality. Recently I was a project manager in Shareable tourism (ERDF) -project.
