Corinna Casi is a Doctoral researcher in ValueBioMat, a funded project by the Academy of Finland (2019-2022) affiliated to the Faculty of Law, University of Lapland, Rovaniemi (Finland). She is also a Doctoral Candidate in Environmental Ethics at the Discipline of Practical Philosophy, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Helsinki, (Finland). She is a member of HELSUS (Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science) and she collaborated with The Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law (NIEM) at the Arctic Center, University of Lapland, in two projects related to Human Security and Food Security in the Arctic.
She taught Environmental Ethics at the Helsinki Summer School 2016-2019, University of Helsinki; at the Tampere University 2011-2019 and at Nordhausen Hochschule (Germany) 2014-2019
She was visiting scholar at: University of Palermo (Italy) in 2018 and 2017; the University of Latvia, in Riga (Latvia) in 2014; the University of Iceland in Reykjavik (Iceland) in 2013; Brown University, RI, (USA) in 2004 and the Université de Dijon (France) in 2002-2003.
She was a Board member at Nordic Summer University (NSU) network (2015-2016).
She received a Master in Moral Philosophy with the highest grade at the University of Bologna, in Italy.
